The present work aims to analyze from a pedagogical approach the controversy of the virtualization of teaching in design disciplines based on an academic exercise developed from 2020, the year of the beginning of the COVID-19 pandemic; within the framework of several collegiate courses of the Industrial Design educational program, Faculty of Engineering Sciences (FCITEC) of the Autonomous University of Baja California (UABC). For this, recognized authors in the field of pedagogy and its crossover with the discipline of Design are considered; as well as the implementation of concepts such as interface, to give a schematic explanation of the interactive process of teaching and learning and teaching practice.
