The physical phenomenon derived of the photoacoustic effect are employed in the determination of thermal properties. In the present work, a review of the phenomenon, its development, applications and ways of improving the photoacoustic signal is carried out. An experimental setup of photoacoustic signal is built and instrumented it works with variable and constant frequency. First, the design, G-code and fabrication of the optic table is realized in a 3 axes CNC; then, the experimental setup communication is established through the LabView software. Finally, probes were developed, the obtained results are consistent with the reported in the literature. The obtained prototype was compact and practice. It is possible, due to the elimination of the opto-mechanical components used in traditional systems.
