People with disabilities are important sector of the population that needs to mobilize in the Metropolitan Area of the Valley of Mexico, to work, attend school or carry out daily activities. The objective of the work is to design the prototype of an independent urban mobility device, adaptable to wheelchairs for everyday use. For this, was used as a method the General Model of the Design Process of the Universidad Autónoma Metropolitana, chosen for being suitable for the design and development of products. As a result, was obtained a functional prototype 1: 1 scale, with the proposal to integrate in public transport stations.
